What is Blue Theology?
Blue Theology is a Summer camp where current science in marine ecology meets a theology of creation justice. Who is this program for?
We mainly host church youth groups, but adult and intergenerational groups are welcome too!
Where are we located?
Blue Theology is located in Pacific Grove, CA.
When do programs start?
Programs run end of May through end of July. Contact us for current availability.
What are the sleeping arrangements?
We provide twin-sized air mattresses. Please bring your own pillow and bedding.
Is food provided?
You must provide your own meals. You will have full access to a kitchen, equipped with cooking utensils/appliances. Congregations host one church dinner/potluck & pancake breakfast for each group!
Will showers be available?
Yes! You will have access to multiple showers. Most outposts do not have washer/dryers (location-dependent).
Is transportation provided?
No, you must provide your own transportation for the entire week.
How many participants per group?
15-20 per group (students and chaperones).
How many chaperones does a group need?
At least two adults must accompany a youth group. We recommend one adult for every five youth.
